When we love someone, we want to tell them everything and show them that we care. We want them to know how we feel and why we feel that way. We do not want to keep secrets from them and we will often keep secrets from them in the hope of protecting ourselves from their judgment. The heart is a mirror of our true self and so it is the heart that must be polished to achieve this ideal state of being.

A person can be polished by listening to their own heart and not judging or trying to change it in any way. When we focus on our heart, we can better understand ourselves and be more accepting of ourselves.
